People focused practice

Alexandra is driven to support people to be their best most rested self. She loves blending her research inquiry from her prior career in UX with a combination of her esoteric learnings to meet the needs of real people. As of July 2025 she has pivoted her focus to running her private practice Star Bound Healing LLC, an astromagical small business providing community resilience through remote Reiki and an amalgamation of other esoteric offerings. Whether it be calming the nervous system to induce better sleep, helping break emotional blockages stagnating growth, or simply creating a safe non-judgmental space for her clients to hold whatever troubles they are working through, she is here to support with a tiny bit of help from the stars.

Ethical equitable accessible support is the standard of her practice. All information shared in client one on one sessions is strictly confidential and will never be sold to third party investors.

If you work for an organization that values accessibility, diversity, and improving community, I am open to partnering for workshops or private events.

Professional Experience

The esoteric healing chapter

Ever since beginning her first Saturn return (hello lived trauma of 2020), she’s been transfixed by learning and growing her delineation skills in both Modern and Hellenistic Astrology as a form of ancestral reverence for a practice that is thousands of years in the making. She’s been practicing diving with tarot since 2023, Usui Reiki and Ancestral Medicine since 2024, and most recently she has learned to access and read the Akashic Records. She is always curious, always learning ancient and new esoteric practices.

The corporate UX chapter

She has over 8 years of mixed methods research driven design experience supporting enterprise (McKinsey & Company), e-commerce (Zoro, a subsidiary of Grainger), financial technology (JPMC), parking (Flash Parking) and non-profit sector (YMCA of the USA). She seeks partnership opportunities that align to her values - advocacy for and on behalf of those who need help the most - building and improving holistic human-centered experiences through design, research, and community care.

The starving artist chapter

She has about 4 years of experience supporting fine art (ZIA Gallery) and museum institutions (The Griffin Museum of Science & Industry on behalf of the Art Institute of Chicago) in what feels like a very distant past life. Archival handling, conservation, framing, and installation are key skills she grew as a Gallery Assistant.

Education

Alexandra received a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction with distinction from DePaul University.

She also holds a Bachelors in Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
